During this three hour course, attendees will learn ethical principles and responsibilities. In addition, the agent’s ethical responsibilities to insurers, clients, the public and to the state will be addressed. Sample case studies, as well as a question and answer session will also be included.  

11 a.m.-Noon 401(k) Plans-Unfair to Women? (1 CEC), Pending Approval, Paul Stang
Virtually all 401(k) plans treat men and women the same. We’ll review the studies that show they are very different. For retirement planning purposes, men and women need individual, customized plans to succeed.

This course will go over several different strategies and provide new ideas of how a reverse mortgage can be used. Have clients ever asked you the following on reverse mortgages: Can I use a reverse mortgage in estate planning to increase the legacy to my heirs? Is interest, real estate taxes, or MIP a deductive when paid? Are deductions passable onto the heirs? What are the best strategies to facilitate maximum Social Security benefits using a reverse mortgage? Can a reverse mortgage convert countable assets to exempt equity? Does a reverse mortgage line of credit affect Medicaid eligibility?

Rooms: The first letter indicates the section that the room will be located in. As you enter the building, the halls will be marked with a letter. The first section is A and the last is E. The first number reflects the floor. The remaining number is the actual room number.

Parking: As parking can be a challenge at the campus, the college has provided availability for guests to park in the gated parking area in the Visitor Lot.

Gated Visitor Lot: There is a keypad on the gate. Please use the following code to access the gate. Press the # sign first – then enter 0804. The gate will open for you automatically. Guests can also park in marked student stalls in the main lot if the Visitor Lot is full.
