President’s Message
Have you registered for the Financial Services Forum yet? Yes? I did, too! If you haven’t, what are you waiting for? This event is coupled with the NAIFA-WI Annual Meeting which will take place on Wednesday, May 8th with the Financial Services Forum to follow on Thursday, May 9th at the Country Springs Hotel in Pewaukee.
This awesome event will tee off Wednesday with our Annual FIFE golf outing. Since its inception, FIFE has provided numerous scholarships to newer agents and advisors for LUTC, LILI, and Field Management courses. So while you have fun out on the golf course, you’re also helping out those who may be our future leaders. What a deal!
You will be done golfing just in time to join your fellow members for the NAIFA-WI Annual Meeting. In addition to an update on the state of our NAIFA Wisconsin association, our National Secretary Juli McNeely, LUTCF, CFP, CLU and National Political Action Regional Vice Chair James Clabuesch will share some of their insights at the Annual Meeting.
The A. Jack Nussbaum Distinguished Service Award Banquet will also take place on the evening of May 8th. One of our peers will be recognized for their outstanding contributions to this industry, the public and education. Do you have a thought on who it could be? It will be a great evening filled with excitement and fun. You really do not want to miss it!
Don’t stay out too late though, as the main event, the Financial Services Forum starts early at 7:30am with Tim Steffen sharing a presentation on Retirement Income Planning. If you are an Agency Manager, we got you covered too! Anthony Morris will share a dynamic presentation on Recruiting and Retaining. Then this awesome, world renowned, best-selling, keynote speaker will address the entire audience. Anthony Morris will share his motivating message with us sharing practical ideas and tools that will help launch your practice to a new level. You may feel that you simply have all the ideas that you hoped to take away after Anthony’s presentation but there is much, much more!
You will have quality CE choices on these topics; The Affordable Care Act, Market Perspective, Estate Planning, Heath Care Update, Reverse Mortgages and an Economic Update. Did I forget to mention there will be exhibitors there that will be showcasing their specialties and products and allowing for great networking opportunities? Sorry about that!
The day will be wrapped up with an amazing story of Dave and Rachel Brown, a Madison couple who earned 1 million dollars as the 2012 Amazing Race winners sharing great tips on teamwork and motivation.
